Privacy policy
Last updated 16 October 2026. This policy explains what Alora Intelligence Inc. (“Alora”, “we”) collects when you use Alora, why, who helps us run it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name, email address and password, or your Google account details if you sign in with Google. Passwords are stored scrambled; we never see them.
- Your profile. The answers you give when setting up Alora, your timezone, goals and settings.
- Your content. Footage you upload, edits, scripts, ideas, captions, schedules, files you attach, and your chats with Alora.
- Your voice. When you talk to Alora with the microphone, we record what you say, turn it into text and answer you out loud. We keep the text, not the recording.
- Alora's memory. Short notes Alora writes after each chat, so it remembers your style and plans next time.
- Connected accounts. When you connect Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or YouTube, the profile, posts, comments and performance numbers you allow us to read, and the access key that lets us post for you when you ask.
- Your team. The names and email addresses of editors and teammates you invite, and the messages you send each other in Alora.
- Payments. Your plan, invoices and payment history. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Support. What you tell us when you ask for help, and our replies.
- The waiting list. If you join it, your first name and phone number (people who joined before 16 October 2026 gave an email address instead). To check the number is yours we send it a one-time code by text through Twilio, our text message provider; Twilio sees the number and the code, nothing else. We use the number only to let you in.
- Technical details. Your device, browser, sign-in times and error reports, which we need to keep Alora working and your account safe.
How we use it
We use your information to run Alora for you: to suggest ideas, write scripts, edit and schedule your videos, show your numbers, answer you, and remember what matters to you. We also use it to keep accounts safe, stop abuse, take payments, answer support questions and fix problems.
We do not sell your information. We do not show you ads. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Who helps us run Alora
We share information only with the companies that help us run Alora, and only what each one needs:
- Supabase stores your account, content and files.
- Vercel hosts the app.
- Anthropic powers Alora's thinking and writing.
- OpenAI, ElevenLabs and DeepInfra turn your voice into text and Alora's replies into speech.
- Stripe handles payments.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Twilio sends the code that checks your phone number when you join the waiting list.
- Sentry reports errors so we can fix them.
- Cloudflare checks that sign-ups come from people, not bots.
- Google, Meta, TikTok and YouTube when you choose to sign in with them or connect your accounts.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or if Alora is sold or merged, in which case this policy keeps applying to your information.
How long we keep it
- Raw footage is deleted two days after the finished video goes live. The finished video's details and numbers stay in your account.
- Everything else stays while your account is open. If your trial or plan ends, we keep your account for at least 45 days so you can pick up where you left off, and we warn you before deleting anything.
- When you delete your account, we delete your information. Copies in our encrypted backups disappear within 30 days.
- We keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Keeping it safe
Your information is encrypted on the way to us and stored with access limited to the systems that need it. Access keys for your social accounts are only ever used on our servers. Only the Alora team can see your account, and only to help you or keep the service running.
Cookies
We only use the cookies Alora needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your light or dark setting. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices and rights
- Change your details and settings at any time in Alora.
- Delete a chat with Alora, and the notes Alora kept from it go with it.
- Disconnect a social account on your Profile page. We stop reading it straight away.
- Delete your account on your Profile page, or follow our data-deletion page.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing admin@aloralabs.io. We reply within 30 days.
If you live in the UK, the EU or California, you have these rights by law, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
Alora is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think someone under 18 has an account, tell us and we will delete it.
Where your information is stored
Alora is run from the United States, and our providers may store information in the United States and other countries. When information leaves the UK or the EU, we rely on the legal safeguards those providers offer.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your information in a big way, we email you first.
